From this time on there will be two Kamloops Trails websites:

KamloopsTrails.net has been online and active since 2010.    There are about 2500 posts, about 1000+ images and maps, pages, and many links.    It is now too large now to fully back up.     It will become the archive site to access information, as needed.  New posts and content will not be posted to this site from March 19, 2024 (the Spring Equinox).

KamloopsTrails.ca, this site, will become the new active site.

KamloopsTrails.net had between 175 000 and 200 000 views each year for the last 10 years.    About 325 subscribers received posts by email.    The site had an average of 2 posts a week for 13 years.    Throughout the time, there has been no effort to market the site commercially.    All costs are borne by the author.    Visitors may come to the site or not and no effort is made to “sell” products, nor even accounts.     It is hoped that hikers, snowshoers, paddlers, and outdoors-oriented people have received some benefit from the sharing of information that is available on these sites.

The new site will be leaner and will feature mostly new information.     The older site will be available for a while yet as an online resource.
